Suffering and Wisdom
Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Why does God send us through suffering and loss? Have you wondered? I believe He is making us wise. Ecclesiastes 7:4 says, "The heart of the wise

in the house of mourning;
but the heart of fools
in the house of mirth." Certainly our hearts have been at some
point to the house of mourning. Ecclesiastes 7:2 says, "
better to go to the house
of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that

to his heart."
How would we live if we took it to heart that one day we will indeed "stand before the judgment seat of Christ" (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10)? Do you think we would treat one another better? Would we be kinder, more loving?
I don't know what all the Lord is doing. But I do believe He is giving His church wisdom and putting us on one another's hearts, for ". . . we,
many, are one body in
Christ, and every one members one of another" (Romans 12:5).
God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and
the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
